Gobo & Gather keeps cookies to a minimum. The site’s theme does not set advertising, tracking or social-media cookies for readers.
Cookies you may meet
- Security cookies from Cloudflare. Cloudflare, which sits in front of the site, may set strictly necessary cookies (for example one named __cf_bm, or a cookie set after a security challenge) to tell people apart from automated traffic. These are short-lived and are not used for advertising.
- Site administration cookies. WordPress sets login cookies only for people who sign in to manage the site. Readers do not sign in and do not receive them.
Visitor statistics without cookies
Pages may load Cloudflare Web Analytics from static.cloudflareinsights.com to count visits and measure page speed. Cloudflare states that this service does not use cookies or local storage to track individual visitors. It does process request information, as described in the privacy policy.
The contact form
The contact form does not set a cookie. Its anti-spam check is carried in the form itself, and a short-lived counter on the server limits repeated sending.
Managing cookies
You can delete cookies or block them in your browser settings. Blocking Cloudflare’s security cookies may mean you see a verification step more often.
Changes
If a new service that uses cookies is added, this page will be updated first.
